OnCreateIssue

When creating a new issue, the user is required to select an overall classification level for the issue.

Click in the Rollup Classification field. This will bring up a dialog allowing you to select:

  • The Level
  • Compartment
  • Release To

You can see in the image to the right, in the Details section, a field called Rollup Classification. The value you entered will appear there, and in the banner at the top of the page.

Description

For Descriptions and Comments, you can manually enter the classification. Please follow your organization's formatting requirements for this.

You can do portion marking here for each paragraph you enter in either the Description and Comments sections.

When you save, the plugin will rollup them up into the most restrictive value. That will be displayed in:

  • The page banner
  • The Details Rollup Classification field

You will also notice that a Classification-List-Panel has been added to the right side of your page. All the unique classifications found in the Description and the Comments sections will be displayed here.

Just a reminder, because Rollup Classification is a custom field, you can treat it the same as all other custom fields.
