Calendar

The Calendar tab is the mixed board: Jira issues and custom events together.

Views

• Day / Week / Month / Year — pick the horizon that matches how you plan
• Timeline — longer-range layout grouped by type or project

Issues on the board

Each calendar has its own JQL and a date field that drives placement (due date, start date, or another date field). Filters typically include assignee, status category, issue type, and label. Status colors and overdue highlighting help you see risk at a glance.

Drag an issue to another day or time to reschedule the configured date field. The footer reminds you: drag events or issues to reschedule.

Events

Use New event for work that is not a Jira issue — or that sits beside issues:

• Meeting, Milestone, Focus time, OOO, Holiday, Deploy / release
• Unlimited custom types and color rules
• Recurrence, including yearly

Calendars

You can create unlimited calendars — private, team, or everyone — each with its own JQL. Switch calendars from Settings or the calendar controls when you need a different lens (personal vs team).

Exports and Confluence

• ICS — download a feed for external calendars
• Meeting notes — from an event, create a Confluence page (agenda / notes / decisions / actions) when a space key is set in Settings
• Embed macro — place a read-only Cadence calendar on a Confluence page
