Is Cadence a timesheet?

No. Cadence schedules issues, meetings, and Focus blocks. Use WorkPulse (or Jira work logs) to record hours.

Do I need Confluence?

No for the calendar itself. Yes if you want meeting notes pages or the calendar embed macro. Set the space key under Settings → Meeting notes.

What is Week Compass for?

It is the planning layer for roles, Big Rocks, Renew, Day Plan ABC-123, and light habits — so the company can support balance and growth while people still ship the work.

How does WorkPulse sync work?

Cadence writes event data to a Jira issue property on your calendar hub issue; WorkPulse reads it. No cross-app HTTP. Configure the same hub issue Cadence and WorkPulse expect under Settings → WorkPulse sync.

Can I use Cadence with an external calendar?

Yes via ICS download today. Google one-way / two-way sync is on the product roadmap.
