Installation & configuration
Standard needs almost no setup. Install the app, optionally confirm page lock, and make sure spaces allow restrictions.
1. Install from the Atlassian Marketplace
- Open your Confluence Cloud site and go to Apps → find Greenlight Document Control & Approval.
- Install the app and approve the requested permissions.
- After install, you should see Greenlight on page bylines and under Apps.
2. Configure Standard defaults
Open Apps → Greenlight (global admin page).
- Toggle Lock page to owner + reviewers while In Review (on by default).
- Click Save defaults.
3. Space permission for lock
If lock is enabled, Confluence needs restriction rights:
- Space settings → Permissions
- Enable Add/Delete Restrictions for the groups that will use Greenlight

No categories, teams, or routing to configure in Standard. Authors start from the byline on any page.
